Northern Trailblazers Basketball Elite Teams Set to Travel to Grande Prairie and Saskatoon for Competitive games this weekend.

We’re excited to announce that our High school Boys, 15U Boys, and U16 girls elite teams will travel to Grande Prairie and Saskatoon for highly competitive events in the coming weeks.

The high school boys, 15 and under, boys A and B teams will travel to Grande Prairie to compete. The players have been working hard in practice to hone their skills and are ready to showcase their talent on the court. The U16 girl’s team will also travel to Saskatoon to participate in a highly competitive tournament against other top teams across the province. The girls have been training hard and are eager to put their skills to the test against tough competition.

“For the second year in a row, NTB will take teams outside Alberta for play. The U16 Elite Girls will face their toughest competition of the year as they travel to the SLAM Prairie Season Opener in Saskatoon, where they will compete against the top programs from Saskatchewan and Manitoba.” – Coach Adri Ivey.

This will be the first time we have teams travelling to Grande Prairie. Hosted by Underground Hoops, this weekend’s event will be a good measuring stick for our teams. You can watch our boy’s teams play live on NTB TV and our U16 girls on Baller TV.

We want to thank parents and supporters who make these opportunities possible. Travelling out of Fort McMurray to compete is no small task, and we couldn’t do it without dedicated parents.
