Last weekend our elite teams competed in the Swoosh Basketball Maximum Madness Tournament in Edmonton. This was the 3rd consecutive year that our teams competed in this tournament. The tournament is the first opportunity for our teams to compete after school basketball is complete. You can check out how each team did below.

Despite the 1-3 record, the 15U Girls’ team’s performance is worth mentioning. Half the girls on the roster are a full year younger than most of the competition. Despite the age difference, the girls finished 3rd in their division. The 3rd place finish is the strongest finish the program has had of any U15 NTB Girls Team.

A special shoutout to our 13U Boys and Girls teams, who finished 2nd in their divisions. The 13U Girls faced Rise 13U Girls in the championship game, while the 13U Boys faced TNBA 13U Boys in their championship game. Congratulations to all of the teams who competed this weekend. They made us proud, and we look forward to our next competitive opportunity.

History at Swoosh Maximum Madness

Last Spring, our 12U Girls finished first place at the 2022 Maximum Madness, and the 13U Boys finished second in their division. The next opportunity to compete for our teams will be on April 28th when we travel to Grande Prairie and Saskatoon.
